"Receiving In God Ministry
                                                                                               CD Ministry  Newsletter

July 2010

 We Are At War
Spiritual Warfare is something every Christian will face if they are doing any kind of ministry for the Lord. Sometimes when the battles get really tough God reminds me of the song he gave me which is the theme song of Rig Ministries.  "Worth Fightin' For" this is a song God gave me the lyrics too back before I ever begin my first tape ministry in Oct 2000.  In 2004 I shared these lyrics with my song writing partner Tom Caldwell and another friend of mine James Caban who at the time was my neighbor.   Between the three of us we came up with the song that you hear on about every cd that is produced here at Rig Ministries at the beginning of each cd.  As of this date we have produced  500,000 cd's and  so this song "Worth Fightin' For"  has went out to a lot of people across this country and several other Countries around the world.  From the feedback we have received it has been a help and a blessing to many,  many  people so we give God all the praise for the song which I originally titled  "Jesus is Worth Fightin' For."   The first verse goes
Outside this scarred up heart, Inside a raging storm.   The Word is angered, Cause Satan has declared a war.   I'll fight this battle Lord, because your worth figtin' for!  As you listen too the song you will hear my heart's cry!
So what  do we do when Satan attacks?  We do what Jesus did!  He used his sword, The Word of God!  He would always answer Satan with *It is Written*  That is our answer too!  We are to use the Sword of the Lord on Satan and his demons when they  attack.  But there is also  something that we must do in preparation for these attacks and we find that in
Ephesians Chapter 6 vs 10-18 (NLT)
10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God*s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we  are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God*s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.  16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.  17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
So in the words of my good friend and mentor Ray Sisk I want to tell you this I Am a Soldier in the Army of God!  The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer!  The Holy Bible is my code of conduct! Faith, Prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare!
I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity!  I will either retire in this army at the rapture or die in this army; but I will not get out, sell out, be taken out, or pushed out!  I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable!
If my God needs me, I am there!  If he needs me to teach children, work with youth, help adults, or just sit and learn, He can use me, because I am here!
  I Am a Soldier!
I am not a baby!  I do not have to be pampered, petted, primed up, picked up, or petted!  I Am a Soldier!
No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me!  I Am a Soldier!
I am not a wimp! I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name, and building His kingdom!
No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy, or give me handouts!  I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered too!  I am committed!
I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around!  I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside!  I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit!  When Jesus called me into this army I had nothing!  If I end up with nothing I will still come out even! I will win!  My God will supply all my needs!  I am more than a conqueror!  I will always triumph!  I can do all things through Christ!
Devils cannot defeat me!  People cannot disillusion me!  Weather cannot weary me! Sickness cannot stop me!  Battles cannot beat me!  Money cannot buy me out!  Governments cannot silence me, and the demons hate me!
I Am a Soldier!  Even death cannot destroy me!  For when my Commander calls me from this battlefield  He will promote me to Captain and then bring me back to rule this world with Him!  I Am a Soldier! In His army, and I am marching, claiming victory!  I will not give up!  I will not turn around!
I Am a Soldier!  Marching Heaven bound!  Here I stand!

"I just wanted to thank you for your efforts in spreading the gospel.
It is easy to get lost and lose your way in this world.  I am a deployed
Soldier who has tried to live right, though I seldom do.  Over here there is not much in the way of spiritual guidance.  Like you were saying on the cd I have, there is  a big difference in a Pastor who just goes through the motions and one that actually cares for his flock.  Not much caring over here.  I am weak in my spirit I know, and I give up too easy.  The Lord however still has not given up on me, He constantly pleads with my heart to pick up His word and read.  Sadly, most times I ignore His pleas, tonight was not one of those nights.  I have had the cd's since Nov. 09 and I finally listened to them, I am glad I did. Hearing you speak, I felt closer, no longer alone.  I have 2 cd's from the Trucker's Christian Chapel.  One's with speaker Tony McMullen.   I have only listened to the one with Tony.  I look forward to hearing the other one too.  I picked these up one day on a road trip home before deployment, I am happy that I did.  Anyway, I have rambled enough.   I just wanted you to know you are reaching people and you are making a difference.  God has made our paths cross and thanks to His work through you, I am back on track.  So don't give up the fight or feel your wasting time.  If you only reach 1 more person,  that is one more soul that has been saved.  God bless and keep you and yours.
SGT Christopher B. Spain     Have a Blessed Day"

"I listened to your testimony this morning on the way to work.  My  commute takes approximately an hour and I found myself slowing down just to make sure I got to hear it all.  I laughed and I cried.  It really touched my heart and brought back so many memories of myself in the early 1990's when I was feeling down and out.  I remember one morning driving to work talking to God and saying "God if you're really up there give me a sign."  That particular morning it was dark and dreary and I looked up and saw the sky open up to a cross in the sky...a pretty blue cross in the mist of a dark dreary sky.
I liked what you said about the grass seems greener and the sky seems bluer.  That's exactly the way I feel.  I find myself looking at everything and praising God for everything.  I wonder how many people get that?
I want to share a "sign" story with you.  My brother was on drugs and dealt drugs a big part of his life.  I haven't seen him since 1995 but I pray for him and I pray God touches his heart.  He has hepatitis C and there is nothing the doctors can do for him.  He called me last year and said he was driving down the highway and he saw a huge billboard about Salvation.  He stopped his car and got out and walked up to that billboard and gave his life to Christ.
Now I want to share one more story with you and then I better get to work.  I work in law enforcement and have most of my adult life.  I was driving to work one morning talking to God as usual and I started out with "Good morning God" and then I said "Now...this morning I want to hear you say hello back to me."  I was driving down Interstate 81 and no sooner had I said that I heard "Hey Evelyn".  I gripped the steering wheel and looked up and said "Whoa, was that you God?"  And then I heard it again "Hey Evelyn."   I looked to my left and saw one of the deputies I work with on his loudspeaker.  I asked him when I got to work "Was that you or was that God?"  And he said, "I don't know Evelyn.  I never take I-81 to work but this morning something told me to."
Well I better get to work.  I just got out of the hospital yesterday and I'm a bit behind.  Have a blessed day.   Evelyn"

"Dear Rig Ministries
One of my friends recently gave me a copy of the "Testimony of Stephanie Wilson".  I would love to give my mom a copy too.  I really enjoyed this CD and want to keep my copy to listen to again.  If you could send another, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you so much!

Love- Michelle"

"I ran across some old cassette tapes that used to belong to my dad.  He wasn't a trucker, but spent countless hours on his CB radio talking to truckers and other CB enthusiasts, like himself.
I have a tape player in my car and have been listening to a tape recording of when the missionaries Heidi and Roland Baker came to Ft. Wayne, Indiana........and then I remembered I have other taped sermons at home------So I put them all in my car too! (I drive around a lot..)
2 of the tapes were Lonesome Road tapes.. and the very first one I listened to I LOVED. I was hoping you were still doing the tape ministry, so I "Googled" it--and found Rig Ministries.  I am wondering if you still have any of the old tapes that you used to do.  Have these been digitalized?

Thanks so much!!  -Kimberly "
